Giveaway: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay & Catching Fire Keepsake Ornaments by Hallmark

We're giving away THREE sets each of 2 gorgeous Hunger Games Hallmark Keepsake ornaments thanks to the generosity of the lovely people at Hallmark

Each set will include one of the new Mockingjay Part 2 keepsakes. If you haven't seen one of these beauties in person, I can tell you that they are really incredible. They're about 4" and made of metal, which lends a nice weightiness to the ornament. The color is a lovely bright gold and they are the highest quality - certainly a must for The Hunger Games fan's holiday tree. If you don't celebrate Christmas, I'm sure you could find many different ways to use this Mockingjay to spruce up your decor (see what I did there). The ornament retails for $17.95 at Hallmark.

Here's the Mj2 ornament on MY tree.

The set will also include one of the Catching Fire keepsakes. I own and adore this ornament, and was so sad when we didn't get a Mockingjay Part 1 version. These are still selling on ebay and collectors sites for way above the original retail, so now is your chance to snag one if you missed out back in 2013.

Use the widget below to enter the giveaway which runs Saturday, December 5th through Thursday, Dec 10th at 5pmET. You may enter by doing one or all of the options, the choice is yours. Only one option is required. Three winners will each receive both a Catching Fire and a Mockingjay Part 2 ornament.  This giveaway is open to US residents as Hallmark will be shipping directly to the winners. May the odds be ever in your favor!

I Love Them ALL because they gave me the FEELS! and they all brought the books to life. I cant choose which of all is my favorite book, so the movies are just the same.

"I am really hoping for the possible sequel, prequels,T.V. series, and animated adaptations."

I concur, Raymond!! Naturally I'm concerned about those potential installments not getting it wrong, but by the same token they could be incredibly exciting as continuations of this beloved story. I personally would adore sequels. And/or a series/miniseries. Or even an animated format--I thought I was the only one imagining such a thing! :D (As I've said all along, it could really work in lots of ways--short stories/films, graphic novels, illustration, animation...or just more movies, or episodes.)

I became a fan of this story over four years ago. And I know it will stick with me for the rest of my life. My favorite film in the series is the first, because it's the one that started it all. It made me fall in love with the characters. One thing that resonated with me was Katniss' unwavering love for her sister. She simply wanted to keep her alive and for her to live the life a young girl deserves to live. I have a younger sister myself and I would do the exact same thing that Katniss did for Prim. One other reason I love the first film is because it contains my favorite scene in the entire series: Rue's farewell. Not only is it emotional, but I believe it's a very pivotal scene in the story. People say the rebellion started when she pulled out those berries, but I believe it started when Rue died. It's the first death in 74th Games that changed Katniss. It's the first time when she realizes the Capitol is the blame for all the deaths in the previous 73 games, not tributes in the arena. So when she set those flowers around sweet Rue, she sent a message to the Capitol: Rue was more than just a piece in your games; she was a pure 12-year-old girl who had so many years to live, but spent those 12 years in fear and death. I still watch that scene and listen to the score for that scene and feel the same intense feelings all over again. I also am thankful for these movies setting a political and social example to the youth. I learned to be more aware and gain more knowledge about the people around me from this story. I will never forget these four years of my life because they were the most important. Thank you, SC, for giving me this part of my life, and to the cast and crew of these movies for bringing me to the edge of my seat to moving me to tears. Thank you, and I love you.

The Hunger Games means everything to me, I started reading around 2011, My life has changed forever since I picked up Suzanne Collins book. These books are so powerful, they send such a empowering message that if one person could change the world so can you. I am so happy that I've read the books and am so excited to see what's next for the hunger games.
xoxo May the odds be ever in your favor.

My favourite movie is the Catching Fire. I really love, how Mr. Lawrence followed all the looks of the districts, Capitol, Citizens etc. from the first movie, but the best part of him was leaving out the not so good parts of the first movie. It was a nice change I think and that's why I love the second movie the most. And of course, because I love the Capitol way of life and in the second movie we can see the most of it.
