Giveaway: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay & Catching Fire Keepsake Ornaments by Hallmark

We're giving away THREE sets each of 2 gorgeous Hunger Games Hallmark Keepsake ornaments thanks to the generosity of the lovely people at Hallmark

Each set will include one of the new Mockingjay Part 2 keepsakes. If you haven't seen one of these beauties in person, I can tell you that they are really incredible. They're about 4" and made of metal, which lends a nice weightiness to the ornament. The color is a lovely bright gold and they are the highest quality - certainly a must for The Hunger Games fan's holiday tree. If you don't celebrate Christmas, I'm sure you could find many different ways to use this Mockingjay to spruce up your decor (see what I did there). The ornament retails for $17.95 at Hallmark.

Here's the Mj2 ornament on MY tree.

The set will also include one of the Catching Fire keepsakes. I own and adore this ornament, and was so sad when we didn't get a Mockingjay Part 1 version. These are still selling on ebay and collectors sites for way above the original retail, so now is your chance to snag one if you missed out back in 2013.

Use the widget below to enter the giveaway which runs Saturday, December 5th through Thursday, Dec 10th at 5pmET. You may enter by doing one or all of the options, the choice is yours. Only one option is required. Three winners will each receive both a Catching Fire and a Mockingjay Part 2 ornament.  This giveaway is open to US residents as Hallmark will be shipping directly to the winners. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Catching Fire is my favourite probably because CF is also my favourite book. I love the storyline and the victors (Finnick and Johanna ftw!). And of course we get a lot of Everlark feels <3

While I really enjoyed Mockingjay Pt. 2 (and it was the movie during which I cried the most while watching), I would have to say that Catching Fire was my favorite. It holds a special place in my heart. It was the first of the films I was able to go see in theaters, and included some of the things I was most looking forward to seeing on screen, like the beach kiss, the introduction of Finnick, and the Quarter Quell arena. I think that it's also safe to say that I've re-watched CF the most out of any of them.

My favorite is Catching Fire, I thought Snow's granddaughter was a great addition and was sorry she wasn't featured in later films.

My favorite movie in The Hunger Games franchise is Catching Fire because a lot of main characters are introduced in this film.

My favorite movie of the series is Mockingjay Part 2 because of how it perfectly ended the series. :)

Catching Fire is my favorite because it gives us more depth into the reason of the rebellion and that Rue scene is 😭. It makes Katniss's character stronger and more badass.

I would have to say my favorite hunger games movie would be Mockingjay Part 1. Most people say it's not that exciting like the other 3 but this one is actually pretty amazing. This movie brings out katniss true feeling about peeta and how she becomes the Mockingjay and the symbol to the revolution. It also show how much the charchaters been through and that's where Mockingjay part 2 comes in and show how each character have grown throughout these movies. :)

My 2 favorites (I can't really choose 1) are Catching Fire, since that was already my favorite book in the trilogy, and Mockingjay Part 2, because the wind down and completion of this saga is just heartbreakingly beautiful.

Mockingjay is and will forever be my favorite book in the series because of how raw and real katniss is in the story. Many may say it's quite boring but to see and feel what Katniss is going through during a time of a war she never wanted to happen and peeta being in the Capitol and then discovering he is highjacked and putting her in a very difficult situation for a 17 year old is what makes me love it so much. MJ Part 2 film is an absolute masterpiece there is no doubt about it. But there's something about catching fire that makes it forever hold a special place in my heart. It might be because the film drew me closer to the series. And it helped me get through a really tough patch in my life. Katniss' strength through everything she is put through and how she is able to find some peace and happiness at the end inspired me to keep going. Catching Fire film is probably the most beautiful and my favorite of the series, especially because it takes you into a whole new perspective of the characters and the world of panem and Mockingjay is definitely a VERY close second favorite.

My favorite film? Gah it's hard to choose... But I would choose Mockingjay part 2 because everyone outdid themselves and there's like no dull moment, you either stay on the edge of your seat or burst out crying or do both. And then the movie capped off with the amazing epilogue where Katniss looks so content and so happy, and then you cry of sheer happiness.

I love Mockingjay part. 1 and so to part. 2. I can't be able to chose one because the first part was so emotional and shocking at the end, and the last part (I don't want to be the ''last''😭!!!!) was brilliant with peeta again and finally the kids

I've always said this " I don't have a favorite film or book of The Hunger Games ." And there are so many reasons.
I just fell in love with the books and I think every one of them shows how one person can make the difference, even if we just do something that we think it will will only affect us in a positive way, in fact it helps everybody.
All those books and movies showed me that we are so selfish sometimes that when we do something, it ends up hurting so many people and we don't even know it.
We are so blind about some things that we just keep thinking, saying and doing what everyone does, and we just don't stop thinking about those actions.
The Hunger Games showed me that we can make a difference, even a little thing we do, say or think can make the difference, it doesn't have to be the acts of heroism Katniss did.
We just have to stop following and start thinking about "why following if I can follow my own self?"

My favorite movie would have to be Mockingjay part 2 because it has all my favorite moments from the book. Director Francis did an incredible job capturing everything just right :)

My favorite one is Catching Fire. It was so intense I broke down crying at the credits

December 8, 2015 | Unregistered Commenterxnakinakix

My favorite film is Mockingjay Part 2, because it brings the story, the themes, and the tension that's been building up since the first movie to a close. Katniss made an ultimate choice to end the war, without looking like a hero.

The film - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is really far from what I expected it to be. It was so good, and left me hanging in my seat. . . . Especially during the Sewers Scene/ Reptile Muttations Encounter Scene. . . . The ending became more emotional, and I was like seeing my imagination in the big screen. . . . I thought, Lionsgate would sugar coat things up and change a lot more. . . . I am really hoping for the possible sequel, prequels,T.V. series, and animated adaptations. I also loved how Jennifer adopted to the growth of Katniss' character as well as Willow Shield's portrayal as Primrose. I was felt devastated when I saw how Prim died, and how Katniss twisted the flow of the story by killing the real snake - President Alma Coin.

I have to say MJ2. It brings everything to a close so beautifully. The questions it asks are such pertinent ones too.
