Johanna's Capitol Portrait Dress Designer Discovered

We just discovered that the gorgeous dress from Johanna Mason's Official Capitol Portrait was designed by Dutch designer Jan Taminiau. The dress is from Taminiau's appropriately named F/W 2011 Collection, Nature Extends. It shouldn't surprise you to find out Lady Gaga has worn Taminiau's designs many times. Gaga seems to be a big inspiration for Catching Fire costume designer Trish Summerville.

Jan also designed 2 dresses for the queen of the Netherlands which she did wear April 30, during the Royal Inauguration. The royal blue dress they worked with 80 people on. His carreer is booming this week.
He did design more dresses for Maxima (Queen of the Netherlands). See also current cover of vogue.nl which came with a white cover.
You shared a great blog. I like it. It's really wonderful dress but I have searched on google where I can buy kaftan dress online on the internet. when I have seen my interest build to buy this dress.
