The 'Catching Fire' Reviews are Coming in - And They Are GOOD!

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire reviews are coming in and (huge sigh of relief) they are GOOD.

The Telegraph UK praises Jennifer Lawrence's performance, saying:

Meanwhile, Lawrence tears through the film like a cannonball.

And says:

It’s a critic’s instinct to auto-praise any blockbuster that tries to do something different, but Catching Fire is so committed to carrying on the fine work started by its predecessor that the applause flows utterly naturally. Is it too soon to say I can’t wait for the next one?

Cine-vue gives it 4 stars and says:

Taking over the mantle from the departing Gary Ross for speedily produced sequel Catching Fire (2013) is journeyman director Francis Lawrence, perhaps best known for his 2007 adaptation of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend. If Lawrence struggled with Matheson's grand apocalyptic themes, with Catching Fire his aim is impeccable, striking - and even improving upon - the heart of Suzanne Collins' middle book.

The London Evening Standard gives it four stars and says:

The second half is a roaring... OK, OK, no more fire metaphors. Suffice to say, teen rebel and ace archer, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), is still the best game changer in town.

We're not going to post every review, it's just great to see that the early ones are coming in with postitive buzz.
