Jennifer Lawrence Nominated for Empire Award

Jennifer Lawrence is nominated for a 2013 Empire Award for her role as Katniss in The Hunger Games! Empire is "the world's biggest movie magazine." Vote for Jen HERE.

About the Empire Awards:

Imagine your ideal awards ceremony. It wouldn't be four hours long. There would be no awkward/sexist/lame musical numbers. Winners would be allowed to take as long as they want, and thank whomever they want in their speeches, and would be positively encouraged to tell us shaggy dog stories about their experiences on set. And the whole thing would be irreverent, laidback, relaxed and very funny. In other words, The Jameson Empire Awards.

Yes, the show we're calling the antidote to Oscar fever is back — on Sunday March 24, to be precise. As ever, the majority of the categories will be decided by our readers, so we need YOUR votes for the best films and performances in the period running from January 27, 2012, to January 25, 2013.

It's a very open race, with box office behemoths Avengers Assemble, Skyfall, The Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey all in contention. Then there are the smaller yet no less deserving entries like The Raid, Beasts Of The Southern Wild, Sightseers, Argo, Looper and Django Unchained – as well as many, many more.

Abercrombie & Fitch Releases Jennifer Lawrence Modeling Photo

Remember when Jen talked to Conan about not quite making it as an Abercrombie & Fitch model? (bottom video HERE) Seems they should have re-thought that decision to nix her shots. How Much Would You Pay For JLaw's Used Bra?

If there's anything hotter than a Girl On Fire, fresh off winning an Academy Award for best actress, we're not aware of it.

Want proof?  JLaw's outfit from the Silver Linings Playbook is being auctioned off piecemeal online at NateDSanders.com, along with a few of Bradley Cooper's outfits.

You can get Lawrence's top and bra that she wore as Tiffany for just over $1,491 if you act now.  There have only been 9 bids as of this post, so you don't have too much competition.

Of course, you could just go all out and pick up her custom-made white stretch pants for over $2,405 if you're going to be throwing money around. And her beautiful black wool coat is holding steady at $1,806.

But if you want a little piece of Bradley, you're in luck!  His shirts, hoodie, and pants are all going for under $200.

Act fast! This auction ends tonight at 5pm PT.

Update on Mon, March 4, 2013 by PanemPropaganda

Jennifer's items sold for about $12,000! That's far above expectation. From Reuters:

The wool, full-length winter coat worn by Lawrence in the Oscar-nominated comedy topped all items, selling for $4,652 in the three-day online auction, Los Angeles auction house Nate D. Sanders said on Friday.

The memorabilia dealer had expected the items to fetch between $500 and $1,500 each following the 22-year-old's Best Actress win at the Academy Awards on Sunday.

Lawrence also won awards from the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild in January for her "Silver Linings Playbook" performance.

The custom-tailored white pants Lawrence wore during the film's climactic ballroom dance scene with co-star Bradley Cooper went for $3,493, and a package of a teal sports bra and blue long-sleeved shirt sold for $3,175.

A black tank top from Lawrence's wardrobe, but not worn in the film, fetched $624.
