Jennifer Lawrence is also front and center in full Mystique regalia on Entertainment Weekly's Summer Movie Issue (above). From the issue:
With the X-Men hunted in the distant future by mutant-killing robots called the Sentinels, Wolverine (Jackman) is sent back in time to his 1973 body to stop Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) from assassinating the inventor of the Sentinels, Bolivar Trask (Game of Thrones‘ Peter Dinklage). Keeping Trask alive prevents a devastating war between mutants and humans — and keeps Mystique among the do-gooding mutants. As Kinberg explains, “A lot of people have an emotional investment in her not going to the dark side.”

The Hunger Games trilogy author Suzanne Collins won a Christopher Award for her autobiographical childrens' picture book Year of the Jungle (Kindergarten and up, Scholastic Press). Illustrated by James Proimos, the book recalls her attempts as a first-grader to stay brave while her father fought in Vietnam, and explores the effect of war on young children.
Created in 1949, The Christopher Awards are presented to writers, producers, directors and illustrators whose work affirms the highest values of the human spirit. Tony Rossi, The Christophers’ Director of Communications, says, “In a culture where hope can be in short supply, we joyfully celebrate the creative artists behind these winning works.”
The honorees were announced on April 2. The 65th annual presentation of the awards is scheduled to take place in New York on May 15.
Sam Claflin recently told Digital Spy that he and his co-star Stef Dawson (who plays Finnick's love Annie Cresta) are, "like best of mates."
Sam Claflin bonded with his The Hunger Games: Mockingjay co-star Stef Dawson over Twitter before the pair became good friends.
"We got in touch via tweet immediately when the news broke," revealed Claflin, who will play District 4 tribute Finnick Odair opposite Dawson's Annie Cresta in the franchise's two-part finale.
"The moment she set foot on the Mockingjay set, the two of us are like best of mates. She's great."
Three new character posters for X-Men: Days of Future Past feature Jennifer Lawrence's character Raven/Mystique looking beautiful in blue. The film opens in theaters on May 23.
