Sunrise on the Reaping Soundtrack Album coverMCA has officially announced that The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) arrives November 13, 2026, one week before Sunrise on the Reaping hits theaters on November 20.
Noah Kahan’s new song “Draw You Out” will serve as the lead single and drop October 2. Pre-save HERE.
The announcement also gave us a 29-song tracklist, and at least a few clues about who else might appear on the album.
So, obviously, we went digging.

Noah Kahan’s “Draw You Out” Is Sunrise on the Reaping’s Lead Single“Draw You Out” was written specifically for Sunrise on the Reaping, with Kahan reuniting with Grammy-winning producer Aaron Dessner, who co-wrote and co-produced the track.
According to MCA’s announcement, the pair worked on the song at Long Pond Studio in New York and Gold Pacific Studios and East Iris Studios in Nashville. The full album is executive produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb and, according to the release, “brings together 29 cross-genre artists.”
And this isn’t simply a Noah Kahan song that happened to land on a movie soundtrack.
He wrote it for Haymitch Abernathy and Lenore Dove.

So we have a pretty clear idea of where this one is emotionally rooted: Haymitch and Lenore Dove, and the purpose, grief, and perseverance through pain at the center of their story.
Cool. Great. We’re all going to be perfectly fine.

Sunrise on the Reaping Album tracklistTrack 29 immediately sent us down another rabbit hole:
“Alone (Live in Berlin 2022)” Points Toward The Cure
“Alone” is the opening track from The Cure’s 2024 album Songs of a Lost World, but before its official studio release, the band was performing it during its 2022 Shows of a Lost World tour.
On October 18, 2022, The Cure played Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena, and “Alone” opened the concert. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes just happened to be filming IN BERLIN at that time in 2022.
Coincidence? I think not.
And there’s video of the Berlin performance:
The lyrics also fit Sunrise on the Reaping remarkably well, dwelling in loss, endings, memory and a future that never came to pass.
Haymitch and Lenore Dove, anyone?
And What Exactly Is an “Arena Mix”?
Three songs on the updated tracklist now carry a new designation:
“Ruthless (Arena Mix)”
“Doing The Best That I Can (Arena Mix)”
“Survive (Arena Mix)”
We don’t yet know what “Arena Mix” means, but the titles are intriguing because all three also match existing songs whose lyrics fit Sunrise on the Reaping surprisingly well.
Kacey Musgraves has a song called “Ruthless,” built around fierce protectiveness and what happens when someone threatens the person you love. Stevie Nicks’ “Doing the Best That I Can” is steeped in emotional fallout and endurance, while Lewis Capaldi’s “Survive” centers on continuing through pain when everything feels overwhelming.
There’s currently no evidence that any of those existing songs are on the soundtrack; this is purely my own speculation. But if “Arena Mix” means previously released songs reworked specifically for the film, those three are worth keeping an eye on.
What About The Lizzy McAlpine and Hozier Rumors?

Hozier and Lizzy McAlpineFans have linked Lizzy McAlpine to “The Wheel” after a screenshot circulated that appears to show an ASCAP registration under her full name, Elizabeth Catherine McAlpine. We haven’t been able to independently verify that entry, though, and the registration itself wouldn’t necessarily prove it’s the same song appearing on the Sunrise album.
So: interesting clue, not confirmation.
The Hozier / “No Destination” rumor appears to stem largely from Genius, where a song by that title was listed under Hozier’s name.
Genius is community-edited, meaning unreleased song pages and artist credits can be added before anything is officially announced. Some circulating screenshots even list a November 20 release date, the movie’s release date, rather than the album’s November 13 release.
That doesn’t mean Hozier isn’t involved. It just means Genius alone isn’t enough for us to call him confirmed.
For now, both stay firmly in the intriguing-but-unconfirmed column.

The Track Titles Are Basically Asking Us to Theorize
Even without the artist credits, this list is packed with titles that feel connected to Sunrise on the Reaping and the larger Hunger Games world.
“Dove Song” obviously about Lenore Dove.
“Deep in the Meadow” needs no introduction to Hunger Games fans.
“The Old Therebefore” Burdock sings this at the funeral.
“The Goose and the Common” Lenore Dove sings this one at the beginning of the book and gets arrested for singing it later in the story.
“The Raven” isn't merely one song; it appears three times throughout the album.
Then we have titles including:
Ash and Snow
First in Line
Wrestle with God
Metal Birds
Same Blood
May Brings Flowers
Show Me Where The Ending Starts
All of these have us putting on our detective hats.
