A first in the annals of Hunger Games history - two victors have been named in the 74th Annual Hunger Games!

The excitement has been building for weeks. The nation of Panem held captive by the long-shot romance of the pair from District 12. The non-stop drama has kept hearts racing since we first laid eyes on Katniss Everdeen volunteering for her young sister, Prim, at the Reaping.

In the arena the hits just kept on coming:

When we last checked in on our SCLs they were fresh into the Final Five, hoping pull off an unexampled double win for District 12. Shortly thereafter the eager pair set off to meet their fate. The first casualty? District 5's tribute dies by dramatic accidental poisoning.

The next heart stopper? The Capitol's reliably terrifying muttations. Always ready with a spectacular flourish, the Gamemakers outdid themselves this year creating vicious dog-human hybrids! The finale kicked into overdrive as the tributes ran for their very lives to the Cornucopia.

Cato, Katniss and Peeta waged mortal combat on the Cornucopia in what will be forever known as The Battle of The Horn. One of the most unrelenting conflicts in Hunger Games history garnered the highest ratings ever recorded by CapTV. The Capitol came to a complete standstill as we watched Katniss save Peeta, then take out Cato in unequivocal succor. 

Katniss and Peeta almost let love die! A last minute technicality almost snatched victory away from the golden couple. Those love-crazed sweethearts nearly took their own lives rather than spend an eternity apart. Your Capitol wouldn't let that happen -  and we are bringing your lovers back home!
