D12 Stylist Made Public
The stylist for this year's District 12 Tributes has been made public this afternoon according to the Ministry's Office of Fashion.
The immensely talented but little known designer and Stylist Cinna has requested to lead the prep team of the 12th District long-shots along with his lead design assistant Portia. The two, along with a small staff, operate CINNA, Capitol City on the West Side, and have been making waves recently for their groundbreaking, transformative designs for a dedicated and growing roster of Capitol A-Listers.
Cinna recently opened a small but very successful ready-to-wear line named "C" that was started after the designer seemingly rose up the ranks from nowhere. This will be the duo's first time as official Hunger Games designers, so many eyes will be closely watching in what can be a very high-stakes risk for young, unestablished stylists.
If Cinna can make that splash, he could just turn out to be the next Domitilla, who after her successful appointment to the Winner of the very first Quarter Quell became a Capitol City sensation for decades - single-handedly making fashion statements like the feathered brow and neon pink bouffant classics.
Of course the Games can be the end for a young stylist as well. Consider the case of Aeliana Duns, the then successful designer that insulted all of Panem with his cataclysmic Tracker Jacker dress. Three Tributes were seriously injured before the games even began, and Duns, obviously finished in fashion, offered to make public amends by honor execution.
Recent advertisiment for Cinna's brand.
